Lastest News – LVMH and Google trademark case

LVMH and Google have agreed to work together to combat the sale of online counterfeit goods.

The agreement follows almost 10 years of litigation over complaints by LVMH that Google Adwords service was enabling counterfeiters to sell their products on the back of LVMH brands.

Google says it will honour valid complaints from brand owners and restrict their rivals’ use of trademarked keywords in their Adwords text.
