Ann is a Top 100 Lawyer of the Year turned motivational trainer. Ann was a senior in-house lawyer delivering first class legal services for nearly 30 years primarily in the banking sector.

Richard Tapp is the Company Secretary and Director of Legal Services for Carillion plc where he is responsible for legal, secretariat, compliance and insurance across the business.
He led a complete review of the legal provisioning of Carillion plc, establishing the Carillion Legal Network using state of the art practice techniques to reduce the number of law firms used by some two thirds and bring very significant reductions in cost and improvements in quality and service in managing the group’s multi-million pound legal spend.
He has spent his career in commerce and industry, having now spent more than 15 years as General Counsel for FT-SE businesses. He is co-author, with Anne Page, of Managing External Legal Resources.
William is the content manager and head of communications at GC Research Club. He is a professional journalist, researcher and strategist. He has worked at GC Research Club since February 2013 and has rapidly become a distinguished voice in the in-house legal blogging community, writing on Lexis Nexis and interviewing leading legal thinkers and writers, in house lawyers and CEOs within the legal tech world. He has also coordinated the GCRC Sports Panel series.
Helena joined the GCRC in December 2013. She is the GCRC’s StyleCounsel Co-ordinator. Since joining the GCRC, Helena has thoroughly enjoyed interviewing designers and in-house lawyers from leading fashion and lifestyle companies.
Katherine is the main administrator and web manager of the GC Research Club, having worked on the project since it was in its infancy in 2012. She coordinated the setup of the community and its editorial and marketing processes, as well as the recruitment of other members of the GCRC team. She has experience in project management, digital media and publishing, gained at companies including Guinness World Records and Random House. She completed her MA in Early Modern History at King’s College London in 2013, following an undergraduate degree in history at the University of Warwick.
Alex is a co-founder and General Manager at legal technology company SION1. He is a veteran internet technology designer who has been developing web applications for over 10 years. He has extensive experience of web-based and interactive information technologies and has designed and implemented a range of applications for both the corporate and the legal industry.
Alex was one of the pioneers of interactive standards for RSS feeds between corporate brokers and fund managers. In the legal field, he has developed legal applications ranging from online datarooms, e-learning to interactive information and knowledge systems for large corporates as well as medium sized to magic circle law firms. He is an Oxford graduate and is currently collaborating with Peter Westman on a paper on Personal Knowledge Management.
Iain qualified as a Solicitor originally in Scotland in 1975 . He then transferred to Hong Kong’s then largest law firm, Johnstone Stokes & Master. He returned to the UK to study business management in 1981 and became a Solicitor in England and Wales in 1983.
Iain’s career in the UK has been focused in commerce and industry (as well as in financial services), where he has been Head of Legal for several large public companies, including Chemring Group PLC, a major contractor for the defence industry. He has over 29 years of experience working as an in-house General Counsel and Company Secretary.
